PROS:
HUGE PROFITS: the more famous the person is that promotes your brand the more the fans of that player want to get their grubby little hands on it especially if the brand uses that specific famous person’s name as part of the brand. This can cause such a panic but especially if it gets released as a limited edition (sometimes all you need is the name limited edition not necessarily being limited stock) and your sales will rocket sending profits through the roof.
A GUARANTEE OF A WELL MADE PRODUCT: because of the brand spending so much on that famous person’s sponsorship, they, in turn, will not back it no matter what they get in return unless there is a guarantee of quality that they can associate with and this then passes onto the client knowing they are getting the best.
VARIETY OF PRODUCTS: The more famous people backing a certain brand the more products can be merchandised and produced flooding market that is already saturated but knocking the competition off the shelves and having your brand outsell any other.
VARIETY OF STYLES: with the variety of products comes a variety of styles of each product as not only will each famous person have their feedback but so will the clients as per surveys done by these Branded Merchandise specialist via the internet.
CONS:
BAD APPLES: when a certain famous person falls in disgrace for any reason with either the company or his fans and or the law it can cause major damage to that brand and can cause that brand to drop them like hot potatoes (usually contractual)
HIGH COST: the best-merchandised brands are usually the higher costing brands especially in third world countries (where most are made)
