Well, would you be surprised if I told you that in the very American magazine called Popular Mechanics, there was an article published in 1938 already? With this statement (indirect but word for word quote) ” Hemp is the New Billion-Dollar Crop. Claiming to have thousands of potential applications, there seemed to be no limit on how and where hemp could be used and American farmers are promised a new cash crop and it will provide thousands of jobs for American workers throughout the land”
Even though this popular magazine ready globally was well respected the American government which at that time was controlled by mainly the tobacco tycoons, which hemp would be a direct competition product, shut this industry down in an instant killing the whole hemp industry and throwing its uses and understanding out of the proverbial window and left unforgotten and misunderstood for over eighty years
Because of this, sadly today we and most of the world’s population in the first world countries have not been exposed to or even told about what this amazing crop can do for our overpopulated and threatened planet really needs. So bad is the misunderstanding that many assume, very incorrectly that hemp and marijuana is the same thing used for the same purpose, to get high!! Which it is not and is only lies spread by the powers that be but is incapable of getting you high as it lacks THC (the hallucinating chemical found in the rest of the cannabis plant and not hemp seeds, from which hemp products are made of.
There are even some out there that do not even know about its existence and many uses
