Dressing For The Beach

Summer is around the corner and you are beach-ready with a toned body. But its time to revamp your wardrobe as well. You should know that beachwear is not just about cover-ups and bathing suits. Designers now have separate resort wear or beachwear lines that are a must-have for a wonderful day on the beach. But choosing the right outfits can be confusing.
Not to worry; here are a few of our top tips on how to find wonderful beach dresses online outfits for this summer.

Lightweight long dresses: Dress like the Duchess of Sussex and invest in long lightweight summery dresses that are perfect for a day on the beach. All you have to do is Google “beach dresses online” and a thousand results will show up. Choose a mix of light and dark colors or stripes as they are “in” this season. You should also invest in T-shirt dresses, maxi lightweight cotton dresses, and sarong dresses that are perfect for the beach.
Shorts and cover-ups: Shorts are an absolute necessary while on the beach. Invest in 2-3 pairs in different colors and lengths. We recommend a short-short, a knee-length pair and an pair that is midway between knee and short-short. Pair this with a casual tee or a funky blouse with a long ankle-length coverup.

Swimsuits: Anything that looks good on your body is fine. For slender people, the choices are endless. For body-conscious or plus-sized women, one-piece versions or retro-style bikinis are a good choice. Monochrome is always good and very flattering on any body type. Monochrome stripes are also a hot choice.

Kaftans: We like kaftans and they are pretty, lightweight and utterly affordable. The sheer material is perfect as a cover-up. It also dries quickly and is available in several different sizes, shapes and colors. And of course, lets not forget that they are perfectly flattering on every body shape.
Playsuits: We find playsuits a little uncomfortable for beachwear but if you like them, then go ahead. The good news is that you will find a range of colors, shapes and sizes for every shape. If you are not comfortable wearing a playsuit, choose a suit that can be combined with a coverup.

Accessories: What accessories? Beach wear is geared for minimal accessories. However, we do recommend wearing a large hat; any variety is fine as long as it suits your outfit. Combine this with a large tote and sunglasses and you are all accessorized for the beach. Don’t forget the beach sandals and a large bottle of sunblock!
We hope that that these few tips have helped you create the perfect summer wardrobe. Have fun!
