A Kerio Cloud is a service offered by Kerio that allows you to quickly set up an internet meeting through its web portal. To make a Kerio Cloud account, log into your domain management at Kerio. Then, select the platform type for a single domain, the number of users, the primary server location, and optionally, an extra archiving feature. If you don’t have a domain, you will be prompted to select one. Once you have chosen a domain, you will be taken to a screen that displays your domain’s details.
Once you have selected a domain and a platform type, you will enter a few details about your Kerio project. The first step is creating an IaaS resource bundle, which is essentially a software bundle that you can install on your server to manage your cloud account. Besides making the IaaS resource bundle, you will need to enter information into your Kerio Cloud project. For instance, you will need to enter the IP addresses of your customers and the URL addresses of your website.
Once you have entered this information, you will need to confirm your cloud project. This step verifies that your Cloud project creation is proper – you will see a green checkmark on the resource bundle selection. This green checkmark means to indicate that your cloud account is correct. If there’s no green checkmark, you may want to go back to the domain manager and ask him or her to manually create the IaaS resource bundle.
In addition to creating the cloud account, you will also have to enter your Kerio username and password. If you already have a domain name registered with Kerio, you should go to your Kerio Cloud control panel. Under the section where you click on “manage domains,” you will see a tab for “managed domains.” The tab for “username aliases” will appear.
Enter the details of your Kerio Cloud user and domain names. Enter the IP addresses of your customers and websites. Once you are finished entering all of this information, you will end up with your IP address and Kerio username aliases. You can then log into your Kerio private cloud from this point onwards. If you select “manage domain names” from the control panel, you will then edit your Kerio username and domain names. However, if you do not, you can simply click “create a username” and change it at a later date.
