A sports hall rarely starts as a blank space for cricket. Basketball goals, badminton posts, wall padding, floor markings, lighting, and stored equipment may all need to remain in use. Begin with a measured survey of the usable length, width, and clear height, not just the room’s overall dimensions.
Mark doors, fire exits, heating units, scoreboards, sockets, and access panels on the plan.
Also record anything that projects from the walls or ceiling. Those details will show whether the hall can take one practice lane, several bays, or a retractable arrangement that leaves the room available for other activities.
